Overview
This first part focuses on Freudian metapsychology and introduces the foundational aspects of psychoanalytic theory, essential for anyone interested in deepening their understanding of psychoanalysis from its origins to contemporary dynamic theories.
The training explores four major approaches to understanding the psychic apparatus:
Examines psychic forces involved in desire, inhibition, and psychic energy. Topics include drives, instincts, and the principles governing the psychic apparatus.
Focuses on unconscious conflict, anxiety, distress, and defense mechanisms.
Studies the organization of the psychic apparatus through the models of:

Explores psychoanalytic theories of child development and identity formation through different developmental stages.
