At Nafsaniyoun, awareness is action. We lead campaigns that make mental health visible, relatable, and a shared social cause. From war and displacement to relationships, stress, and education, we address everything that shapes our psychological lives. We also challenge sectarianism and promote a non-stereotypical understanding of mental health.
Through posters, videos, and community outreach, we bring psychology closer to people and turn silence into dialogue.

National Mental Health Awareness
Campaign May 2024
A two-day national campaign with 100 mental health professionals delivering 100 live awareness messages. Launched in partnership with Lebanon’s major psychology institutions to promote understanding and destigmatization.
“The Other Is You” "الآخر هو انت"
is a peace-building initiative launched by Nafsaniyoun Center in 2021, following the sectarian clashes in Tayouneh, Lebanon. Through this campaign, we produced awareness videos and facilitated open discussions aimed at confronting sectarianism and encouraging empathy across divides. The initiative reflects our core belief that healing and unity begin with recognizing the humanity in one another.
“Staying in Lebanon” “باقي بلبنان”
In early 2021, we launched “باقي بلبنان” (“Staying in Lebanon”) to address the deep psychological impact of mass emigration following the financial crisis and the Beirut explosion. While many were forced to leave, this initiative explored the emotional strength it takes to stay. We hosted Lebanese actress and director Nadine Labaki, and music composer Khaled Mouzanar, both symbols of love and commitment to Lebanon, to share personal reflections on belonging, resilience, and hope. Through awareness videos, we aimed to support those who chose to remain and to affirm that staying can be an act of quiet courage. This campaign also called on psychologists and specialists in the field to stand together and remain in Lebanon, because our country needs us now more than ever.
