Our Voice
Our Voice Since 2017, we have been a collective voice for the psychology profession in Lebanon firm, consistent, and unafraid. When the law regulating our field was passed, we stood up to defend our colleagues and their right to professional recognition.
In 2021, when the first Lebanese Order of Psychologists was officially established, we stood beside it, supporting its foundation and protecting it from unprofessional practices. We continue to raise our voice against all forms of sectarianism infiltrating our field and our Order, insisting on professional integrity and equality above all. We also confront the growing misuse of psychology on social media, where both outsiders and some from within the field promote misleading, unscientific approaches.
Through protests, public statements, collaborations, and our media platforms including our podcast “حكي نقابي” and our show “Psychology شو” we work tirelessly to uphold ethical standards, advocate for our colleagues, and protect the public from misinformation. Our voice remains a force for science, professionalism, and justice in the field of psychology.
