Dr. Elie Abou Chacra Licensed Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, Psychoanalyst & Clinical Educator, currently serving as Head of the Training Department at Nafsaniyoun Center. He holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology from Saint Joseph University of Beirut and a Master’s degree in Arabic Literature from the Lebanese University.
With over two decades of clinical experience, dr. Elie specializes in personality disorders and the integration of psychoanalytic theory with contemporary neuroscience, regularly delivering seminars and conferences for mental health professionals. Elie is the author of a widely read Arabic-language book on psychodynamic psychotherapy and He is currently preparing to launch a TFP training and certification center in Lebanon in collaboration with Nafsanyoun center.
