Course Description

Overview
This training program offers a practical introduction to psychoanalytic clinical work through the analysis of real therapeutic sessions presented in verbatim format. Grounded in contemporary psychoanalytic thinking, the program aims to develop participants’ ability to read, understand, and formulate clinical material from a psychodynamic perspective.


Through the exploration of different personality structures and clinical presentations, participants will learn to identify unconscious dynamics, defense mechanisms, transference and countertransference phenomena, and the relationship between psychopathology and personality organization. The training emphasizes the integration of psychoanalytic theory with clinical practice, enabling participants to deepen their understanding of therapeutic processes as they unfold within the consulting room.

     * Narcissistic injury

  • Clinical Case: Neurotic Depression

     * Unconscious needs for punishment and deprivation

Course Outcomes
