Course Description

Overview

This 30-hour training program provides participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to administer, score, interpret, and report the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children – Fourth Edition (WISC-IV), one of the most widely used cognitive assessment tools worldwide for children and adolescents.


The program introduces participants to the concepts of intelligence and cognitive assessment, followed by comprehensive training in the administration of the 14 WISC-IV subtests. Participants will learn how to calculate and interpret scores across the major cognitive indexes, including Verbal Comprehension, Perceptual Reasoning, Working Memory, Processing Speed, and Full Scale IQ. The training also focuses on the clinical interpretation of results and the preparation of professional psychological assessment reports.
